Banana Split S'mores

Making this delightful dessert is not just a culinary adventure; it's a celebration of outdoor enjoyment. Best prepared over a crackling barbecue or a dancing campfire, this fun treat adds a touch of excitement to any gathering in the great outdoors. So, gather around, embrace the spirit of the outdoors, and indulge in this fun dessert that turns any gathering into a delicious escapade.

 

Ingredients:

  • One ripe banana per person 
  • 25g of mini marshmallows 
  • 50g of chocolate chips (we recommend dark chocolate)
  • Crushed digestive biscuits (we suggest 4 biscuits but its preference)
  • Chopped mixed nuts 
  • Whipped cream and/or ice cream to serve

 

Method: 

  1. Peel and cut through the side of the banana. Gently open out the cut of the banana to reveal a pocket for the other ingredients. 
  2. Fill the banana with marshmallows, chocolate chips & then wrap the whole thing in foil twice ready to put on either your BBQ or campfire. 
  3. Cook for 15-20 minutes or until the parcels are soft when gently pressed.
  4. Open the parcel and top with the remaining toppings, serve & enjoy!
